I’m unofficially graduated!

Define satisfaction.

A great pleasure feeling of freedom and now, I know how it feels like. Alhamdulillah. In the long run, I’ve managed to complete my Final Year Project (FYP) and my very own thesis. Basically, I’m a half way in getting my degree and by that I mean degree in Biomolecular Science in case you’re new here. Alhamdulillah again!

Frankly speaking, it was not easy. I cried like literally in every semester for different reasons. I’m extremely exhausted, the mistakes that I’ve made and the pressure that was way beyond my control. All in all, it was hell. Hahaha. It took almost a year for me to get the thesis done and the strain get more intense especially a month before the presentation. The only thing that I could describe is that NOTHING you should be terrified about unless you’re not prepared. Get it? Ah. Lemme give you a little heads up on how you should handle/manage your FYP thingy :

  • Beware of the important dates esp the due dates of submissions.
  • Get connected to your supervisor regularly.
  • Stay alert on the thesis format.
  • Do corrections right away on your free time. Procrastination kills!
  • Keep in touch with your friends on any related important information.
  • Don’t try to solve your own problems but brings it to your supervisor.

That shall do it. Basically, it is all ordinary stuff that you already know. Common sense. Just in case if you have any questions, send me an email. I’ll reply it ASAP. I’m unofficially graduated until the result announcement. Right now, I can finally blogging in peace without any interruption. I would like to proceed with my products’ reviews because you know it’s my jam. Hahaha. I’d bought tonnes of products especially makeup and I really want to share with my precious readers about them. Wait for it.

Thanks ❤

FYP Presentation

Assalamualaikum and hey!

I am so in the mood of writing right now because of the biggest burden has been removed from my shoulder; the FYP presentation. Alhamdulillah. Yesterday was a historical day for me. I managed to get it over with. For us the final year student, the only thing that we can think of in this last semester is this. Its all about this presentation AND it is not an ordinary one BUT it is kinda torturing. You’ll never know how your project will turns out. Positive results or negative results? You need to juggle your time management wisely.

Facing six panels out of seven was a toughie. Seriously, I was nervous and not very well-prepared. Four hours of sleep was not enough guys. More unlikely, I’m the 4th presenter. Hahaha. There’s one thing I flabbergasted about was that I’m not shaking! Normally, I was nervous as hell and it can be seen on my hands obviously. Alhamdulillah for that. I think, I’m more into presentations now. Getting used to it. It is a good thing tho.

I was lucky this time. Dr Maslinda who is the senior lecturer for our program always asks lots of questions or giving opinions on like everything that makes her curious. Honestly, since she taught us on the third semester, we’re kinda terrified of her. Hahaha. BUT lucky me, I’m the only student that she didn’t asked and it was a miracle. Haha. Who would had thought of that? I managed to ‘escape’ from her!

Actually, I didn’t put too much effort on my FYP (juniors, pls don’t try this at home. Haha). I know, I know. In the beginning of the semester, there’s nothing that encouraged me at that time because I feel exhausted of my previous FYP proposal writing. It was chaos. I spent a lot of time on that and I want to rest, take a chill pill. Haha.

Alhamdulillah. I can’t believe its almost over. ❤

P/S : If you want me to do a special post for the tips on this FYP stuff, leave a comment down below or send me an email.

Thanks ❤

Tough Thursday

Asslamualaikum.

The result came out last night thru email, a little bit late than I expected and I started to think that it is not a good sign. It was a nerve wrecking. Hahaha. As promise, I’ll be posting my results for every semesters for motivational purposes either it is good or bad.

Picture1.png

Taraaa! Actually, this is way beyond my expectation because I know what the hell was I had gone through for this fifth semester of my degree. You don’t know the half of it. It was extremely chaos and miserable. I’d never felt so stressed this much in my entire life but yeah, I managed to get a non-C result! Yay me 😀 Lets analyze my result, shall we?

When the semester ends, I already knew what kind of results that I’ll be getting based on my performances throughout the semester. 8 subjects including the research project? Pheww. I pay all my respects for those who managed to get Dean’s List this time, like seriously. Alhamdulillah, I’ve got an A for my research project proposal which I put SOOOOOOOOOOO MUCH EFFORT ON IT! It feels like all the hard work, I mean like the tears, energy, courage, sleep-sacrifice and all that compiled together are now paid off. Thank you so much to my supervisor, Dr Aziyah Abd Aziz for all your helps and advise. Looking forward for the best on the real project next semester ❤

To Prof Ilham Adenan, you are the best lecturer I’ve ever known. Despite it was my favourite subject yet you give so much trust to us your students to do the best for every tests and assignments. It was so much fun. Thank you so much for being so generous and give me an A+. That really helps my pointers to keep in tract. ❤

As you can see, the lowest grade I got is the Immunology subject. Honestly, this is the king of killer subjects. I am so grateful even it is only a B- but still it was a relief! I was expecting a C+ or C or maybe fail? Hahaha. It was a toughie guys but seriously, I love how the lecturer approached the students. She gave all out during the lectures and she was so concerned about the perfections during the lab practical session. All in all, I’m glad that I had a learning experience with her. She also one of the panels during my proposal presentation and she was amazing. Thanks Dr Noor Hana Hussain ❤ I guess I cannot sign up for you ‘Fan Club’ kan? Hehe.

The other one which is also unexpected is my programming subject. At the beginning of the semester, I thought,

“What the hell I have to take this unrelated subject?”

“What’s the point?”

“Are they nuts?”

“We even don’t have any basics for this!”

“We already have 7 tormenting subjects going on and now this? It is a disaster!”

The truth is why we have to take this? It was not necessary for us science students. Not computer science but BIOLOGY science! Wow. All I know that this subject will ruined my pointers. Luckily and alhamdulillah, I managed to get B for this subject. Woahh. I was expecting a C. It was tough guys. With no basics in codings and stuff, I think B was a big comfort. Pheww.

That’s all about it guys. To recap, I must say the fifth semester of Biomolecular Science degree in UiTM was a misery. Luckily, I’m not having emotional wrecked or something. Hahaha. If you are able to get yourself under control, I bet you can get better results than mine, insyaAllah 🙂 Alhamdulillah, I’m happy with my results because it was all my efforts during the semester. ❤

Study Tips : My Study Habits

Assalamualaikum.

tumblr_static_tumblr_static__640.jpg

I received a few emails especially from the juniors asking me on how I study, how I get good results and stuff. The thing is different people really have their own and different method or acceptance towards any kind of learning techniques. It is all depends on how much are you willing to spend your time studying, your energy, what do you need during studying and what can makes you focus. I’m not an expert in studying but since you’re asking for it, these are the things I always do.

1) Find the right time to study

You need to find a period where you can relax and enjoy studying at the same time. You know, the perfect moment where suddenly you surrounded with good vibes cheering for you to study. For me, I can read and memorized easily if I do it in the morning and night. I guess I had found my specific and strategic time to study. What’s yours?

2) Mind maps and short notes

As usual, I always working on mind maps and short notes that can be referred to during the exam week. It doesn’t have to look nice with all colourful words unless you prefer that way. Pencil is the best. Can be erased easily and I write more faster with pencils. I only used colourful pens to underline the important points OR sometimes, for the different topics and chapters. Fyi, I just wrote them on a blank white A4 paper and divide it into a few parts by folding it so I can write more. No colour papers. I don’t fancy any colour papers or shimmering-glitters ink pen.

3) Past year questions

Past year questions is like a gold mine that you need to dig over and over again but yeah, it can be extremely boring. What did I do? Do the questions TOPICALLY. I can get really bored (also annoyed) if I do it altogether year by year. It is less complicated if I do it topically and also, I can see the questions’ pattern for each year. Honestly, I enjoyed doing it that way.

4) Read EVERYTHING

It is not a serious problem if you don’t remember everything but just read every single thing (of course it would be better if you understand them all). Make sure all the information are registered inside your brain. It would come out during the exam. I’m serious. This is actually happened to me like every time. The best thing, it will help you to goreng if you’re blank. If you’re lucky, you’ll get 1 or a half mark and its better than nothing.

5) Preparation

Always be prepared and ready for exams. I’ll make sure that I memorized everything like every single words or important points. Make sure there is nothing that can spoil your day. Remain calm for like 24/7. There’s no use if you keep panicking. No monsters in the exam hall.

6) Answered everything!

Always give the best performance during the exam. Never left any unanswered questions. You MUST write something even you did not know the answer. Keep digging inside your brain. There must be something inside that may help you with the questions even it is only 0.01%.

7) What I do during lectures?

For class, make sure you’re keeping track with what the lecturer trying to teach you about. Honestly, I don’t really pay attention in each class but I’ll make sure that I understand everything. Always, always, always write when lecturers are giving you extra notes. They are one of the most important thing that will finally help you in understanding each topics.

8) Extra stuff

Constantly looking for supplementary notes and information from the internet and books. This will help you in point elaborations. Talking the truth, seriously, I hate books but I love to dig in the internet to find everything I need to know.

9) Studying alone

All my life, I don’t really think that group discussion would worked for me so I prefer studying alone. Not that I’m full of oneself, but if I do it alone, I’m incharge in everything. I have a full control of myself; either I want to eat something while studying, take a nap or something. Hahaha.

10) Tawakal

You’ve done your best so just leave it to Allah. He knows better. He knows your struggles. Never ever regret of what you get.

Hope this helps. Thanks for dropping by ❤

Motivational Monday

Assalamualaikum and hey! 🙂

DISCLAIMER : I’m not being a peacock here to post this. Please behave and calm your expectations, assumptions, perspectives and impressions. I’m not going to responsible of any jealousy, hatred or even a psychotic act. *wink

This time, I’m gonna passed my writing position to the American Authors. Yeah, they’re in charge today. Today ONLY. Hahaha.

I had a dream so big and loud I jumped so high I touched the clouds. Yes, you guys rocks! 😀

Why I proposed this song for today’s entry? Remember my super miserable final exams timetable last month? Guess what, I nailed it! I am entirely shocked with my results which came in my email last Friday. Seriously, it was beyond my target and expectations.

Picture12

Alhamdulillah, alhamdulillah, alhamdulillah. *cry

It is a sweet moment when you’re finally realized that you always can do better from time to time. Doesn’t matter if there’s anything that holding you back but you keep walking or even running forward, never look back. It is delightful when all the hard works and tears paid off. Yeah, I cried sometimes especially during my PMS. Haha. It is satisfying, you know.

On the other hand, Z also being such a brilliant when…

I wowed. Keep staring on those pointers just like in a fantasy. It was unbelievable. Alhamdulillah again. Z and I struggled every single day during the exam week and now, all have been paid. I am so happy I’m gonna cry when receiving the email. Hehe.

How I study? :

  • As usual, I always working on mind maps and short notes that can be referred to during the exam week. It doesn’t have to look nice with all colourful words unless you prefer that way. Pencils is the best. Can be erased easily and I write more faster with pencils. I only used colourful pens to underline the important points. • I find that I can read and remember more things if I do it in the morning and night. I guess I had found my specific and strategic way to study. What’s yours?
  • Always be prepared and ready for exams. Make sure there is nothing that can spoil your day.
  • Remain calm for like 24/7. There’s no use if you keep panicking. No monsters in the exam hall.
  • Always give the best performance during the exam. Never left any unanswered questions. You MUST write something even you did not know the answer. Keep digging inside your brain. There must be something inside that may help you with the questions even it is only 0.01%.
  • READ EVERYTHING. It is not a serious problem if you doesn’t remember everything but just read them all. Make sure all the information are registered inside your brain. • Constantly looking for extra notes and information from the internet and books. This will help you in point elaborations.

I guess that’s all. These are the things that I actually do during my study and exams. I’m just a normal people who like to go shopping, watching movies in cinemas with my boyfriend like everyone else but when it come to study, I’ll make sure that I’ll be focus.

One more thing, I believe that helping others also is one of the reason behind my success. I feed cats whenever I see them and I keep saying to them,

Please pray to Allah. Pray for me.

I guess their prayers were answered. Alhamdulillah. Congratulations for those who had achieved a reamarkable results. Just have faith and always believe in yourselves. Ignore unimportant things. For those who do not satisfied with their results, there is no such thing as failure in this world if you always have a chance to make a real success. It really doesn’t matter if you fall down once in a while. Besides, it makes you stronger than ever. I never look people in terms of failure or lack of success because I always believe.

I’m not showing off but I want to keep myself motivated.

Alhamdulillah. Hope my tips helps. Thanks for reading ❤ 😀
