Assalamualaikum.
Alhamdulillah. I’m so grateful that I managed to meet the holy month of Ramadan for this year. In a year, its been the most waited month for the Muslims. As I’m now a universal virtual writer, maybe some of you who are non-muslims or not a muslim don’t understand the details for this noble month. Ramadan is the ninth month of the Islamic calendar. Every day during this month, Muslims around the world spend the daylight hours in a complete fast. During the blessed month of Ramadan, Muslims all over the world abstain from food, drink, and other physical needs during the daylight hours. As a time to purify the soul, refocus attention on God, and practice self-sacrifice, Ramadan is much more than just not eating and drinking.
During Ramadan, every part of the body must be restrained. The tongue must be restrained from backbiting and gossip. The eyes must restrain themselves from looking at unlawful things. The hand must not touch or take anything that does not belong to it. The ears must refrain from listening to idle talk or obscene words. The feet must refrain from going to sinful places. In such a way, every part of the body observes the fast. Therefore, fasting is not merely physical, but is rather the total commitment of the person’s body and soul to the spirit of the fast. Ramadan is a time to practice self-restraint; a time to cleanse the body and soul from impurities and re-focus one’s self on the worship of God. Yup, the focus only to do good things and avoiding the bad things. That is Ramadan.
For me, it is also an enjoyable month because after a whole month’s fasting, Hari Raya Aidilfitri appears later. On that day, we managed to gather for the whole family including our relatives to celebrate this month of victory. Such a precious moment. It also would strengthen the relationships among all the Muslims we know.
I found this picture last month and it is good to be shared. A good task that can be take part for all people including non-muslims !
Well, this is great ! Welcoming more hijabsters on the track. Learn to be a wonderful Muslimah by wearing a hijab. As I already said before, hijab functioned as a shield to women. For us Muslimah, it protects our pride as a women and covering our aurah simultaneously. You get it right? Sexy attire would be easily attracting the males and somehow they will easily touching you but not when your wearing a hijab. When you’re wearing one, you also carried the respectful element. The males will be more respecting you because of your decently dressed. Beautiful isn’t it?
Today is the first day of Ramadan and I’m glad that today’s weather is very cloudy and cool despite before this was summer-like weather combined with super hot temperature. Makes our first day of fasting easier. Alhamdulillah. I’ve been thinking to share some menus that you may tried for this Ramadan. Somehow, this month will be the most important month for the meals. You may also shared yours. I would love to see it. 🙂
In a way, I might have thinking that this also can be a good month for diet because less eating can contribute to the loss of weight. Hmmm, a good idea I guess. So, enjoying your Ramadan and have a nice day ! Thanks for dropping by ❤
Toodles.
