Skincare Routine

Assalamualaikum and hey ladies!

This post is specially written for you ladies but for the guys, there’s no harm to read it, okay? Hehe. I’ve been waiting to write this since some people asked me how do I take care of my skin, what products do I use and stuff. Those questions will be answered here.

I don’t really invest so much money on very high quality products which are of course quite expensive due to my inconvenience to go to the luxurious places, also the money. Hmmm. Money play a huge role, guys. So I decided to do some try and error on the products available in the drugstores or any places which I can get them easily and the prices are more affordable.

Surprisingly-orange themed, I introduced to you my everyday skincare regime! Wuhuuu. Lets take a look one by one shall we?

Nourain skincare, the local (Malaysia) products has become my forever favourite since I started to use it last year. For the cleanser, Nourain came out with an orange-coloured soap known as Beauty Soap.

The packaging is super simple which in a small square box with all descriptions written all over it. What I love about the packaging is that it has a small well on it that allow us to see what the soap looks like.

Besides the box, there also another plastic container specially design for the soap. Just look at the orange thing. I love the design and the orange scent of it. Hehehe. I always cut the soap into pieces and used it one by one.

  • This beauty soap is super effective for all skin types especially oily skin like me. The effect takes place for about 3 days after used it then you can feel the difference.
  • My skin gets better after I used it like become more soft and supple.
  • The ingredients are amazing! Most of it are natural and no chemicals. Love it.
  • The oil control is kinda great and I think that my skin become less oily than before.
  • About more than a week, you can see the scars or any dark spots are started to disappeared.
  • My big problem which is the whiteheads and blackheads are like 80% gone!
  • The foam is so smooth and soft when you used it.

  • The texture of the soap is too soft. I guess because the natural ingredients.
  • You might wanna keep it in a very dry place or else the soap will become ‘soupy’ and can be easily drained out from the container. No worries. What I always do is keep the soap in a full-covered container. Even though the soap will turned into orange liquid, you still can used it like normal.

MYR16 and would definitely repurchased it!

Scrubbing is my favourite part of skincare routine. It feels like the reborn of your skin without any impurities, oil, dirt and all that disgusting stuff that don’t belong on your face. For me, it is very crucial. I put so much effort when it comes to choose face scrub, Previously, I’ve been using the facial scrub from Safi Balqis White Trilogy for oily skin. Unfortunately, the product was not looks like a scrub. The texture is more like a normal facial cleanser with very subtle beads that can be easily smudges together with the creamy part. I don’t like that. I want a functional scrub with long-lasting granules in it. So I decided to buy St. Ives Apricot Scrub specifically for blemish control and pores minimizing.

One tube contains 170g of products which is quite a lot. The size also satisfying. Not too big or small. Came in a normal squeezed-tube form container which is the same as other brands. I love it.

This is what I’m bragging about. Can you see the beads? They stay even after I scrub and smudge over and over again but they still there. This is what we call a real scrub. It does a really great job in exfoliating my skin ❤

I’ve decided to get this St. Ives Apricot Scrub after I watched Maria Elena’s video HERE on what products she used in her skincare routine. She said that she used this scrub EVERYDAY. Wow. This is exciting. All I know that we can only scrubs like 2-3 times per week but she said this is a mild scrub and can be used for every single day. This is a bonus! Now I can get newly fresh skin like all the time. Hehe. But what I do is I scrub alternately and not everyday.

  • The overstay granules or beads function so well in assisting me to get rid off any dirt and excess oil on my face.
  • A very little amount of it is enough for your entire face.
  • My skin feels fresh and super soft after used it every time.
  • Reasonable price and easily available in almost every drugstores.
  • I love the fact that this scrub is 100% natural exfoliants and oil-free.

  • The apricot scent is a little bit strong for me even after you already washed and dried your face.

MYR19.90. Its probably on sale the time I bought it and I think the normal price is MYR20 something. Would repurchased as long as I don’t find any better facial scrub. Hehe.

I don’t really concern in choosing facial toner as long as they are alcohol-free. For me, all toners are all alike. The functions is the same. So since I’ve been using Nourain for quite some time, I decided to try theirs.

I really love the packaging. It seems that they really put much thoughts and efforts designing this kind of container for a facial toner. It came in a really sturdy plastic bottle with cap and it is a spray-form of container. It looks like a pump but it is actually a spray pump.

I’ve used this toner for quite a long time so I already throw out the packaging box. Hehe. But here some details about the product.

  • membantu menghilangkan bintik hitam
  • mengembalikan kelembapan kulit wajah.

  • R.O Water
  • Propylene Glycol
  • Algae Extract
  • Cucumber
  • Aloe Extract

  • The packaging is super convenience. You just have to spray the toner on your face without the need to drain it out onto a cotton pad.
  • The toner is purplish-pink in colour and it smells amazing.

  • I don’t really sure if it is effective in removing makeup or dirt on my face.
  • There’s no positive effect yet for my large pores.

MYR30. Repurchased? Maybe not. The price is pretty expensive for a toner.

Nourain skincare does have a day cream but it more like a UV+Foundation cream. With my skin condition which is oily and has large pores, I don’t think foundation form of day cream would worked for me so I don’t buy it. I’ve tried once but yeah, my skin become more greasy and who wants that? So I decided to try a moisturizer that specifically formulated for oily skin. I’m glad that I find this affordable thing. It is quite hard to find the most suitable moisturizer for oily skin not to mention water-based. Some people might think that oily skin doesn’t need moisturizer but I think I do.

This is an oil-control face lotion moisturizer from Safi Balqis White Trilogy. This face lotion is incredible. I love the cylinder-shaped packaging which seems pretty handy.

Another pump! Yeah. I love it. No need to get your hand in mess putting it inside a bulb container of moisturizer like others in the market. Just pump it onto your finger and directly apply it on your face.

Made for oily skin, the water-based oil & acne control moisturisng lotion SPF15 – SAFI BALQIS White Trilogy purveys extra moisture to the skin while controlling the skin from the threats of excessive oil production and acne problems. Enriched with the goodness Vitamin C and B3, it helps protecting and rejuvenating the skin cells from deep within while imparting perfectly bright skin without any harm.

  • Opens up pores
  • Cleanses from within
  • Protects from UV rays
  • Lightens skin
  • Lightens pigmentation
  • Evens out skin tone
  • Retains moisture
  • Softens skin
  • Smoothens skin
  • Skin appears flawless

It is like other moisturizer, white and creamy texture. Easily absorb into the skin and yeah one points for that!

  • Absorbed easily leaving the skin softer than before.
  • I used it as makeup base and it is great.
  • It is water-based so it suits my skin type perfectly.
  • The oil control is quite okay la.
  • It has SPF15 for UV protection.
  • My skin become more smooth, fair and radiant.

  • Sometimes it feels a lil bit greasy after a few hours but still under control. Hehe.

Less than MYR20. I really can’t remember the exact price. Repurchased? Absolutely!

I save the best for the last. Again, Nourain really had caught my intention. Before this, I just cleanse my face before go to bed without night cream or any other products but when I used this for the first time, my skin gets better and better!

The packaging is super simple with a box and a small bulb plastic container full of 10g of night cream. Opening up the cute container, there is a white plastic cover protecting the cream from spilled and smudge around the cap. Keep it sanitized!

The wax-like cream texture is actually like petroleum jelly. It looks greasy but believe me, it is not.

  • The best night cream I’ve ever used!
  • My skin become so soft in the morning and if I have any breakouts, this cream will take care of it.
  • NOT OILY AT ALL. It looks oily but its actually not.
  • Small amount able to cover the entire face.
  • I think this cream is the one that helped my skin a lot.
  • Can be used like 2-3 months per container.
  • The blemishes, whiteheads, blackheads, scars are gone.

  • For me the price is pretty steep but I guess its worth the functions.
  • Only can be easily applied if your skin is moist and not dry.

MYR40 for 10g. I don’t really sure the price for the 5g. Definitely repurchased!

Phewww. Such a long post. So now you know the products I’ve been currently used and all of them are amazing. Who says cheaper brands are not so good?

Finally, I managed to finish this and hope it helps. I bought online for the Nourain skincare and the others from the drugstores such as Watsons and Guardian.

Thanks for reading ❤

Study Tips : My Study Habits

I received a few emails especially from the juniors asking me on how I study, how I get good results and stuff. The thing is different people really have their own and different method or acceptance towards any kind of learning techniques. It is all depends on how much are you willing to spend your time studying, your energy, what do you need during studying and what can makes you focus. I’m not an expert in studying but since you’re asking for it, these are the things I always do.

1) Find the right time to study

You need to find a period where you can relax and enjoy studying at the same time. You know, the perfect moment where suddenly you surrounded with good vibes cheering for you to study. For me, I can read and memorized easily if I do it in the morning and night. I guess I had found my specific and strategic time to study. What’s yours?

2) Mind maps and short notes

As usual, I always working on mind maps and short notes that can be referred to during the exam week. It doesn’t have to look nice with all colourful words unless you prefer that way. Pencil is the best. Can be erased easily and I write more faster with pencils. I only used colourful pens to underline the important points OR sometimes, for the different topics and chapters. Fyi, I just wrote them on a blank white A4 paper and divide it into a few parts by folding it so I can write more. No colour papers. I don’t fancy any colour papers or shimmering-glitters ink pen.

3) Past year questions

Past year questions is like a gold mine that you need to dig over and over again but yeah, it can be extremely boring. What did I do? Do the questions TOPICALLY. I can get really bored (also annoyed) if I do it altogether year by year. It is less complicated if I do it topically and also, I can see the questions’ pattern for each year. Honestly, I enjoyed doing it that way.

It is not a serious problem if you don’t remember everything but just read every single thing (of course it would be better if you understand them all). Make sure all the information are registered inside your brain. It would come out during the exam. I’m serious. This is actually happened to me like every time. The best thing, it will help you to goreng if you’re blank. If you’re lucky, you’ll get 1 or a half mark and its better than nothing.

5) Preparation

Always be prepared and ready for exams. I’ll make sure that I memorized everything like every single words or important points. Make sure there is nothing that can spoil your day. Remain calm for like 24/7. There’s no use if you keep panicking. No monsters in the exam hall.

6) Answered everything!

Always give the best performance during the exam. Never left any unanswered questions. You MUST write something even you did not know the answer. Keep digging inside your brain. There must be something inside that may help you with the questions even it is only 0.01%.

7) What I do during lectures?

For class, make sure you’re keeping track with what the lecturer trying to teach you about. Honestly, I don’t really pay attention in each class but I’ll make sure that I understand everything. Always, always, always write when lecturers are giving you extra notes. They are one of the most important thing that will finally help you in understanding each topics.

8) Extra stuff

Constantly looking for supplementary notes and information from the internet and books. This will help you in point elaborations. Talking the truth, seriously, I hate books but I love to dig in the internet to find everything I need to know.

9) Studying alone

All my life, I don’t really think that group discussion would worked for me so I prefer studying alone. Not that I’m full of oneself, but if I do it alone, I’m incharge in everything. I have a full control of myself; either I want to eat something while studying, take a nap or something. Hahaha.

10) Tawakal

You’ve done your best so just leave it to Allah. He knows better. He knows your struggles. Never ever regret of what you get.

Hope this helps. Thanks for dropping by ❤

Ronasutra Cosmetics Review

Assalamualaikum ladies!

Remember my longest review on my precious Kokuryu Super Summer Cake Powder? Did I manage to blow your mind? I hope it did. On the other hand, have you ever heard of the brand Ronasutra? If you’re Malaysian, I bet you do. It is one of the best and popular local brand. What I love the most about it is they are 100% mineral based cosmetics. I don’t want to brag but you must see this through.

Ronasutra is a range of mineral based cosmetic that is created to meet the needs of consumers today who are looking for an alternative to the usual face makeup available in the market today. It is suitable for all skin types, especially for problematic and sensitive skin.

With formulation that are safety-conscious and free from harsh chemicals, those with sensitive skin will get relief from blemishes, excessive skin oiliness and congested skin once they switch to Ronasutra Mineral Makeup.

Awesome right? Actually, 3 years ago, I managed to get my hands on the Ronasutra 2-in-1 Mineral Foundation and Powder which is basically a loose foundation. Mine was in the shade 04 Honey. My honest opinion is the powder really helps in my skin problems as in oily skin and a few severity of acne which also a little bit sensitive towards chemical products. Alhamdulillah for that because my skin gets better afterwards. It also lasts for like 5-6 months. Unfortunately, I was unable to maintain to use it because it is pretty steep for a student like me.

This year, I finally stand a chance to try it again! Ronasutra had organized a Merdeka Crazy Sales for the Independence Day last month and yeah, it was crazy. Crazy enough to get my head in dilemma. A few cosmetic sets were extremely cheaper than ever!

Wow. I was in shocked when I saw this on their FB page. I kept asking myself which sets I want to buy and it drives me crazy. Hahahaha. I’ve always wanted to try their retractable Kabuki Brush because well, I don’t have any makeup brushes so why not I bought the entire set? Finally, I picked Set 1.

The original price was hell. RM109 was too much for me. Hahaha. RM43 was quite reasonable since they included the Kabuki Brush. The original price of the brush is RM48 itself so I didn’t wait any longer and start to google so I get more information about the set. Luckily, Z managed to buy it for me since the sales was in Shah Alam.

Taraaaa! This is mine! *cry. I was super excited to try this out especially the brush. Hehehehe. On the first day of my new semester, I tried this out and Iove it! Lets check out the details and the packaging.

A) Ronasutra 2-in-1 Mineral Foundation & Powder (5 Colour Set)

The overall packaging of the set was normal and good for me. I can see all the products inside the package and I love on how they put the double sided flyers represent the details of the brand and other products. The package looks elegant and simple. Nothing messy. For the Ronasutra 2-in-1 Mineral Foundation & Powder (5 Colour Set), I love how it looks. The box also displays the instructions in both Bahasa Melayu and English. The container is high in quality and doesn’t looks like a cheaper plastic container plus the size is small enough to bring anywhere. Maybe you’re wondering what does it mean of 5 colour set in one powder?

The 5 colour set is actually a complete face makeup combined in one powder container but in the loose formula. It has 5 choices of colours in one set (Cream Peach, Sawo Yellow, Natural Buff, Honey and Mocha) to shade, highlight or blend to get your perfect shade.

How to use?

  1. Apply moisturizer.
  2. Dab the whole face with Ronasutra 2-in-1 Mineral Foundation & Powder.
  3. Even out the powder with Ronasutra Kabuki Brush or sponge using downward strokes.
  4. Repeat steps 2,3 and 4 to build coverage.

* (Optional – for extra coverage)- Apply Ronasutra 2-in-1 Mineral Base & Concealer  after Step 1.

Mica, Silica, Titanium Dioxide, Boron Nitride, Zinc Oxide, Red Iron Oxide, Yellow Iron Oxide

Free from talc and bismuth oxychloride

No animal testing

Retail price : MYR58

B) Kabuki Brush

Jpeg Jpeg Jpeg

I love this brush so much because it is retractable and come in handy! The brush is so soft and able to give full coverage for the powder application. Also, suitable for sensitive skin like mine. 5 stars for this brush!

This retractable kabuki brush is a convenient way to apply Ronasutra Mineral Powders. Suitable for sensitive skin, it’s high quality synthetic hair glides smoothly over your face without irritating skin or aggravating existing skin conditions such as acne or rashes.

How to use?

  1. Open the cap and pull the brush casing half-way down to reveal only a quarter of the brush.
  2. Dip the brush into powder and dab all over face.
  3. Then, pull the brush casing all the way down to reveal the whole brush length, and blend the powders on skin using circular motion.
  4. Repeat these steps to get more coverage.

Retail price : MYR48

C) Ronasutra NBR Sponge

I don’t have a chance to try this sponge but my first impression is it is high in quality, soft and flexible also it is in a small size thus, it can fit within the powder container. The texture also seems blendable and easy to dab on the face. For this set, I get one sponge.

This anti-bacterial NBR sponge is suitable to be used on sensitive skin. It has excellent pick-up and pay-load properties tp ensure smooth application of Ronasutra Mineral Powder. Sold in pack of 2 sponges.

How to use?

  1. Dip sponge in some powder and dab the powder all over the face.
  2. Then, smooth and blend using the sponge or Ronasutra Kabuki Foundation Brush for Sensitive Skin

Retail price : MYR6

As per usual, for review, there’s no filter for this photo. I only applied my face lotion/moisturizer and the Ronasutra 5 colour set on top with the kabuki brush. My face looks glow and matte without any shiny and oily skin area especially on the T-zone. The loose formula naturally absorbs the oil on my face thus it lasts 8-9 hours! Even at night, my skin still looks fresh like I put a new coat of powder. Seriously, I love it.

  • Made from 100% natural earth minerals.
  • Free from talc, oil, paraben or any synthetic formula.
  • Long-lasting.
  • High UV protection.
  • Anti-bacterial.
  • Safe to be worn during sleep.
  • Halal.
  • Buildable formula.
  • Easy to blend to get full coverage.
  • Able to control excess oil and sebum production on the skin.
  • Enhancing the skin’s natural colour.

  • Loose powder sometimes can be a bitch ; spilled everywhere.
  • During application, I need to hold my breath to avoid any powder inhalation. Hahahaha.
  • The clear twist compartment can be really difficult to work with.
  • The sticker at the bottom of the container is really disturbing as I cannot see the different 5 shades.

All in all, two thumbs up from me. 🙂

Other products for Ronasutra brand are :

  • Ronasutra 2-in-1 Mineral Foundation & Powder (8 shades)

AS244 – Sarjana Muda Sains Biomolekul UiTM

Assalamualaikum my fellow readers sekalian! 😀

Sebabnya this time aku nak bercerita serba sikit pasal my current study program in UiTM Shah Alam which is Bachelor in Biomolecule Sciences ataupun dalam BM sepertimana tajuk di atas.

Fakulti Sains Gunaan, UiTM Shah Alam
A part of the Fakulti Sains Gunaan, UiTM Shah Alam

Kod program ni ialah AS244 ye. Honestly, course ni agak tough jugak especially for those yg tak pandai manage masa. That is why aku boleh dikatakan tak join any activities except for aktiviti yang melibatkan kolej. Sebabnya course ni jadual dia agak pack nak mampos like seriously packed weh! Aku masa mula-mula masuk under penerapan so terus straight away masuk Semester 3 instead of Semester 1. Thanks to Diploma Mikrobiologi. Hahahahaha.

Mula-mula memanglah happy tahap tak hingat sebab aku boleh habiskan pengajian dalam masa 2 tahun je instead of 3 tahun gara-gara dapat banyak pengecualian kredit untuk subjek-subjek yang telah diambil masa diploma BUT the happiness is temporary je. Aku punya kelas kadang-kadang dari pagi sampai ke malam mengalahkan orang yang dah kerja. Penat gila woi. Serious aku cakap, awal-awal study dulu hampir-hampir jugak aku nak tukar course. Hahahaha.

Since memang parents aku takkan bagi aku tukar course plus dah banyak duit yang habis, I’d decided to take this as a challenge. Allah takkan tetapkan takdir aku macam ni kalau aku tak boleh hadap, ye dak? So, I worked so hard to get good results and Alhamdulillah, berkat kesabaran dan kesungguhan, aku berjaya dapat Anugerah Dekan. Happy yang teramat. 🙂 Aku ni kalau dah dapat tulis dalam BM memang bebel tak sudah so to the next agenda!

Ini senarai penuh subjek yang perlu diambil dalam program AS244 ni. Actually, jenis dan jumlah subjek depends on your previous study. Contohnya, macam aku dulu Diploma Mikrobiologi UiTM Kuala Pilah so aku dapat banyak pengecualian kredit. Means that subjek yang aku dah ambik masa diploma tak perlu ambik dah masa degree. The subjects are not actually the same but dia punya main purpose or basics maybe sama macam yang dalam diploma. That’s why aku tak payah ambik dah so aku skip terus ke Semester 3. Kalau Diploma Sains or MLT, skip masuk Semester 2. Asasi dan matrik tak boleh skip-skip ye. Kena start dari Semester 1. Huhu.

course outline

To be honest, aku akan share in details my overall experiences sepanjang di Semester 3 walaupun aku dah nak masuk Semester 5 next week. Hahahaha.

In Semester 3, I have to take 8 subjects in total. I know it sounds hysterical but for me, that is actually quite normal for a degree student plus aku pulak masuk pun memang terus ke Semester 3 so what do you expect? Aku dah terbiasa memandangkan masa diploma dulu pun paling minimum aku ambik 6 subjek. So, let me explain serba sedikit tentang each subject yg aku ambik dalam Semester 3 dan 4.

Sordaria fungus in BMS424 mini lab project
Sordaria fungus in BMS424 mini lab project

  • ELC500 – English for Academic Reading

An English subject yang fokus on reading and critical thinking. Agak susah jugak since you need to think otherwise. Banyak benda tersirat but don’t worry, masa exam boleh bawak kamus. Buku kena beli dengan lecturer or beli sendiri di kedai buku UiTM.

  • BIO400 – Concepts of Biology

Since I’m not in major Biology masa diploma so aku tak dapat pengecualian kredit for this subject. Its about basic Biology dan senang nak skor because its all about basics. Seriously. Depends on notes lecturer pun dah ok. Ada lab session.

  • BMS424 – Microbial Molecular Genetics

Focus on genetic studies in microorganisms/prokaryotes. Lebih details daripada mikrobiologi yang aku belajar masa dip. Perlu rajin dan pandai cari bahan rujukan macam internet, buku-buku, research papers, journals. Lab session kena buat projek pasal fungus in group.

  • BMS531 – Methods in Molecular Biology I

Belajar tentang teknik-teknik dan pelbagai jenis method dalam molecular biology. Ada lab. Ada calculations jugak dalam preparations masa nak buat lab so better bawak kalkulator! Ada lab test.

  • BMS532 – Gene Expression and Regulation

Subjek paling perghh ughhh! Its all about eukaryotes dan macam mana eukaryotes buat protein in a very very very details explanation. Ada belajar pasal cancer jugak. Agak sukar tapi kalau faham betul-betul dia punya mechanism, insyaAllah senanglah jadinya so better you go search for good references. Ada lab session and ada calculation jugak. Lab test pun ada.

  • BMS535 – Proteins and Enzymes

More like Biochemistry but in more specific explanations. Basically, it is quite simple sebab banyak belajar basics je. Lab session kena buat projek protein extraction from any samples macam buah, kacang, darah etc. For better references, boleh check out buku Biochemistry.

  • HRM533 – Introduction to Human Resource Management

Ni merupakan subjek elektif. Boleh pilih antara HRM533 ataupun apa tah lagi satu subjek management. Lupa kod dia apa. Topik dia agak belambak jugaklah but okaylah. Not bad. Ada assignments, presentations but depend on lecturers.

  • TAC401 – Introductory Arabic (Level I)

Also an elective subject. Boleh pilih nak belajar bahasa apa which is German, French, Mandarin, Jepun, Korea, Itali. Aku pilih Arab sebab aku ada basics walaupun seciput aje basics nya pun adoi ter ber. Hahaha. Takde final exam tapi ada online quiz dan kena buat video cakap bahasa yang kita belajar tu. Kena beli buku untuk latihan. Exam pun ada in terms of listening, reading, oral, writing.

  • ELC550 – English for Academic Writing

Kalau sem lepas reading, sem ni writing pulak. Agak menggoncang kepala hotak jugaklah sebab nak tulislah jugak perkataan or ayat-ayat yang bombastic kan. Almaklumlah budak degree. Hahahaha. Kena beli buku jugak. Belajar buat summary, citation, paraphrase dan yang paling perghh sekali ialah tulis bibliografi. Sakit jiwa jap but don’t worry, few lecturer’s guides memang banyak membantu dalam final exam.

  • CTU555 – Malaysian History

What?? Sejarah? Memang kau kena belajar sejarah balik. Padan muka. Wakakaka. Bawak bersabar ye. Jangan risau sebab ustaz ustazah semua sporting dan akan tolong untuk dapat A. Goreng-goreng esei pun insyaAllah boleh dapat A. Kena beli buku dan ada final exam.

  • BMS541 – Method in Molecular Biology II

Sekuel kepada BMS531 di mana yang ajar kali ni ialah suaminya pula. Sweet bakhang. Kali ni more advanced sikit tapi best.

Haha. Lecturer sporting yang teramat. Lab session ada jugak. Mostly belajar pasal industrial bioprocess macam biofermentors. Ada calculations jugak.

  • BMS546 – Cell Signalling and Interaction

Sepupu kepada subjek BMS532 – Gene Expression and Regulation. Belajar pasal cell communications thru signals  dan macam-macam lagi. Lab session kena buat projek from sketch maknanya buat from A to Z in group. Aku kena buat pasal Saccharomyces cerevisiae. Kena cari sampel sendiri as in soil/fruits samples. Ada final exam.

  • BMS651 – Bioinformatics

Paling perghh. Belajar macam mana nak buat DNA sequencing etc guna software dalam komputer. Lab pun dalam computer lab. Lab report submit thru online jugak. Ada quizzes, tests. Tests mostly agak susah tapi final exam senang.

  • MIC674 – Biosafety and Biosecurity

Belajar tentang identification of hazards dalam lab, macam mana nak handle/avoid hazards or biohazards. Its all about logical thinking. Ada lab jugak tapi lab dia agak relaks. Lab report send thru online.

  • TAC451 – Introductory Arabic (Level II)

Konsep pembelajaran sama macam previous semester. Quiz, tests, video etc. Yang berbeza ialah buku dan content dia. Memanglah. Dah buku lain, content pun lainlah. Hahahaha.

Itulah serba sikit tentang Semester 3 dan 4 aku dalam AS244 ni. Overall, aku boleh handle lagi setakat ni. Alhamdulillah sangat sebab aku berjaya dapatkan result yang bagus for both semesters. InsyaAllah, no pain no gain. Giteww.

For those yang nak notes untuk Semester 3 dan 4, boleh klik on My Dropbox : SEMESTER 3 SEMESTER 4 I’ve been meaning to upload all notes directly dalam ni macam notes diploma tapi aku nak jimat space dalam blog ni sebab dia ada limit but here aku sertakan buku rujukan yang sesuai untuk course ni since it is highly recommended by our lecturers dan ramai yang beli.

Molecular Biology 5th Edition by Robert F. Weaver

Rasanya itu jela kot yang dapat aku share serba-serbi pengalaman aku sepanjang dalam course Biomol ni. Hope it helps. Anything just send me an email at dan aku akan reply sepantas kilat. 🙂

Assalamualaikum and very good evening !

Thanks a lot for those who Liked my previous post. Actually, that was my very first flat lay photo (because I just bought that red-exotic-leather tote bag recently).

Today, I want to share some knowledge or may I called it as a part of life experiences which also based on my observations. Experience is the best teacher isn’t it? I admit that. Girls, I hope this might help you a little in your relationship and boys, please take note.

I’m being neutral here and this post is not sexist. Hahaha. I’m being neither the X chromosome team nor the Y chromosome. So girls, how to find your truely prince charming? You might not want to get the false alarm or anything. You really want to know either the guy you’ve been dating is the perfect one or not? You do not want to regret at the end of your relationship?

Here some tips that could help.

1) Always have time for you

Attention is like drugs to women. They always chased, needed and addicted to it. Without attention, it is the end of the world. That is all I can say. Hahaha. When your guy can put unimportant things aside just to be with you, you’re lucky. To be more persuasive, although they’re having some important things to do, they still have time respond to your texts and calls. Yeah. Girls REALLY don’t like to be ignored. For us women, ignorance is hell.

2) Being a gentleman

There is no women in this world who never falling for a chivalrous, gallant, courteous and gentle man. We women not asking you guys to be extremely romantic and all that but we love a man who is behaved and know where to put his ego in the right place. Don’t use your egoistic-selfish minded as a weapon but used it as an assistant to your relationship. A very good and mature lady would not judge if you do that, boys. There always time to improve yourself to be better and girls, don’t take it so hard. The boys are really trying to do the best to make you happy. Please, appreciate those efforts, okay?

3) Futuristic

Not to say to find a man like a robot (or Baymax, maybe), but it is all about your future. A guy who taking your future seriously might be the one. The one who is gonna be your perfect soul mate. If he’s ever talking about what type is your home gonna be after you both get married, how many kids you gonna have, what design of kitchen would you like and all that futuristic questions, he is your ideal spouse. It is a sign that shows he is very serious with your relationship and has the courage to take your relationship to the next step.

4) Thoughtful, supportive and loving

When girls being emotional, what they really need is a good listener, a shoulder to cry on and some love. That’s all. A guy with this criteria is one of the best that you can know so don’t ruined anything. This kinda guy would always being by your side and willing to take any risks to help you when needed and by that, I don’t put this on the guys based on their physicals. Sometimes a tough guy with six packs and the women-magnet biceps can be a real jerk than other ordinary guys. So, watch out !

5) Girls talk

I save the last for the best. Isn’t it great when your guy can lend his ear when you talk about makeups, hijabs, clothes, high heels, plush toys and all the pinky stuffs you have? This is the best ! Its get even better when you can ask for his opinion about which one you should buy. Wow. Boys, if you’re in this category, you’re already hit a woman jackpot and you’re in the dreamy list. Hahaha.

That is all that I can think of and this is just my opinion. I hope it might help some of you to find a better soul mate. Thanks for reading 🙂

Have a nice day.

How to read women like a book ?

Assalamualaikum and Happy Monday 🙂

Look at the title. I think this is the boldest entry that I ever wrote. Its just like I’m writing a manual for men who want to comprehend women zealously. Before I go further, I would like to emphasize that this is just my opinion because I am a woman and of course I know what women think and feel. Assume this as one of your references okay? Let me guide you.

Ladies are the most confusing creature in the world. Why? Because they are complicated both physically and mentally.

Looking at the biological aspects, they do have intricate body parts. For example, the uterus which leads to the menses every month when they hit puberty and I must say it is torturing. The PMS, the period cramps, the moods became ON and OFF like every time, the aches on several body parts and all that are really giving women hard times so please, can you understand us?

When the hormones are all mixing up creating a chaos inside the body, this is why women will show all sorts of feelings when you do something wrong even it is the smallest matter. They can be crazy psychotic monster if you don’t handled them with extra care. Here some tips from me.

What you have to do is,

  • Be patient with her caprices although she said or do stupid things.
  • Brings any snacks – she feels hungry like all the time and eat a lot especially something sweet.
  • Always said yes and agreed with everything she said.
  • Never ever be mad of her because she will be super sensitive unless you can handle her cries 24/7 😛
  • Said things that will comfort her and make her calm.
  • Make sure she get enough rest and for the best, sleep.
  • Give gentle massages on her back and waist.
  • Ignore her? Don’t you dare. During their period, she needs you at most and don’t leave her alone.
  • Never offend her.
  • Be romantic as much as possible – the girls are very emotional during her period.
  • Always keep in mind that if she said something stupid or illogical, don’t trust her. Its not her but it is the hormones talking!

These are some information that I may pointed out when your girl are having their monthlies. You men MUST understand this because this is very important if you want to have a delightful relationship. They are so fragile but don’t worry. She will be back to normal after the menses ended. You just have to be extremely patient only for a few days. It doesn’t that hard right? 🙂

Despite the suffocating time of the month, women also came up with a ravishing package. The beautiful bodies, the pretty smile and the most important is their heart. The ladies assembles so much love inside them and wait for the right time to burst. They have these awesome attitude build up inside of them. Caring, softhearted and loving and because of that you may want to look for the details when something wrong happened. You need to collect enough information about woman and studying it. Yeah, its sounds like a lot of work but do you have any choice if you want a woman in your life?

1) Double Meaning

In majority counts, most women are secretive. I admit that some of them are very direct and straightforward but they still have secrets even the tiniest one. What is she saying in front of you are 90% not coming from her heart. This is so true. Women always assuming the men to understand them on his own. Its like you’re playing riddles without any hints or clues. If you do it wrong, you’re screwed. Women are always like that and nothing will never ever change that. That makes a woman, a woman.

I’m giving you an example of situation here.

A man and his wife are having dinner together at a restaurant. The wife ordered a bowl of mushroom soup with a few slices of garlic bread because she doesn’t have the appetite to eat something heavy while her husband eat one full plate of Carbonara spaghetti with a few meatballs. While the husband enjoying his appetizing meal, the wife just observing him.

Wife : Is the spaghetti really that yummy? I’m sure its pretty tasty. Its quite a long time since we’re having the Western’s for dinner right? 🙂

Now I’m questioning you. What does she even mean? For a man who lack of experiences with woman is totally never gets it and definitely will answer like this.

Husband : Yeah. Its very good. I never thought this place serves a very delicious spaghetti ! We should come again later.

It sounds right but nope. You’re doing it wrong. Why? Two words : DOUBLE MEANING. Hiding feelings are really a woman’s games. They don’t expressing what they feel directly on your face but they want you to make the move to understand them. More like telepathically maybe.

What the wife really meant is

That spaghetti looks very delicious. I want to taste it ! I’m hoping he would give me some. What don’t I asked him a few questions?

Andddd there she goes. Asking the questions and hoping that her husband would give her a chance to taste it. See? Analyzing the questions came out from her mouth and her thoughts are extremely different. That’s woman. So what you have to do when she asked you the questions is

Husband : Its really good. Here. Have some. If you want we can order another one for you at home. 🙂

Yeahhh. That should be it. Are you one of these kinda guy? If its true, you hit the woman jackpot!

2) Own language

I’m just gonna upload a picture and boys, you have to prepare your tools and lets do some revision !

3) Attention

Woman really loves attention and really hates to be ignored or otherwise she’ll be the one who ignoring you if you turn a blind eye to her. If she started to not paying attention to you, BEWARE. There must be some problems that she want to settle with you. For example, if you’re pay no heed to her texts or calls, she can get really angry either in her words or the most serious is the silence.

4) Right-Now People

Besides hiding on what she really feels, the truth is she want to settle all the problems with you right away. Woman doesn’t like to delay any problems until you figure it out the solutions. Please take note. YOU HAVE TO MAKE THE MOVE FIRST. I know you man has quite high level of self-esteem but you may want to take things slow. You know, with gentle. Woman will respect you more if you lower your ego a little bit. It would not crack your nomination in her Top 5 list as The Most Like Spouse. I am pretty sure about that. Why? Because I’m a woman. So, what are you waiting for? Find the settlements in your problems with her!

5) Give her time

When your girl getting mad because of you, just give her some space and time for her to cool off. Kinda of a silence treatment. She’ll be okay after that. How long you have to wait? It depends on her when she want to forgive you BUT I have to remind you something. During that period, you should not leave the situation in total silence but you must show your effort to coax her. Send her a few apologizing messages in a beautiful and sincere way. Call her and if she doesn’t answer, don’t stop persuades her in other way. Your coaxing level will determine how much you care about her and she’ll be seeing that although she is sad.

6) Little things

Girls never stop appreciating all things even it is the smallest matter. Your Good Morning text everyday is never gets old. For her, it is the best start for her and it might brighten her for the whole day! See? Simple is the best. There are many other things that you can do to attract a woman’s heart. Call her everyday just to say I Love You to her. Just a few seconds but its totally worth it. It may decreases the percentages of your conflicts, problems or any misunderstanding. Also, you can do surprises. Woman loves everything that can make her feel overwhelmed. Who says it is hard to win a woman’s heart?

Girls do have some quirky characters that appear to be very confusing to the men. I agree that it is very difficult to understand them. What they say are exactly in the opposite. You must accept the fact that woman only do things like this if she likes you. Its true. You see that if a woman doesn’t like you, she’ll just ignored you or maybe saying harsh words if she is a bad-tempered person. For some girls, they just stay in silence and don’t shows any responds towards you.

Women ask and say all these things because they:

  • Want to be loved and appreciated
  • Want you to care enough to know what they want without them having to tell you.
  • Offer subtle criticism that you gotta figure out on your own.

Besides of their peculiar personality, women do have lots of wonderful demeanor. They full with so much love and you can see that in a mother.

I hope this guide can help men around the world know what a woman really means by what she says. I guess these are the only things that I have in mind. Feel free to give your opinion, ideas or any other information. Thank you for reading 🙂

Simple Meals For A Simple Me

I don’t know what exactly happened but I had some trouble to log in my WordPress account just now. It looks like someone had resetting my passwords and because of that I have to make a new one. Or is it has a connection with the new style column I’m writing in right now? Please someone tell me is it WordPress has made some improvement or update? BUT I’m pretty sure it has nothing to do with the passwords. I just let this question unanswered.

I’m a simple girl and you really can tell when you see my clothing style. For me, casual is the most chosen fashion. Why? because I just love simple things. Jeans have been my first choice of pants before palazzo and long skirts. To complete the combination, I put on a blouse. Blouses are quite normal for the ladies and I love them more than the dresses. Easy-walking attire are definitely my option.

Basically, I just want to share a few simple recipes or meals that you may try. I don’t know why but I just love to watch cooking shows on the television. Its like you watch an experiment conducted by a scientist. You mixed the ingredients and voila! You have the result and it looks so mouth-watering.

Yeah, I love to eat and I love food. That is why I always try to cook something simple and easy especially for my supper or tea break. Sometimes, my parents don’t take heavy meals and a few slices of bread should be enough. For me, nuh-uh. I think it is such a waste if you don’t get your youthful times fully utilize with food trying and eating whatever you like (on your own risks). So, lets get started!

There you go. The main ingredient you should have are bread and eggs. It is the most important thing for me if I wanna cook something when my belly is growling for food.

  • You may fried the egg or just make scrambled eggs. To enhance the flavour, I used pepper and seasoning soy sauce during cooking them. You may used any kind of flavouring if you want and I don’t put a sprinkle of salt because the seasoning already take that job. You may put them if you want to.
  • For the bread, I just transform them into a toast. Easy peasy. You may choose either you want to spread them with butter or a plain toast would be okay for you.
  • For extra accessories, I choose a couple spoon of mayonnaise. Sometimes, I just spread them on the toast or the fried egg. On the other hand, I mixed it together with the scrambled eggs. If you have a can of tuna, you also can put them together. It will add more flavour and of course, more delicious.
  • Moreover, you can add some vegetables to make them a perfect sandwich. The reason why I’m not doing it because I am too slothful to cut them and I want the meal is ready in a short time. Am I such a glutton?
  • Mostly, I don’t use chili or tomato sauce for the dressing because I just love the spicy flavour from the pepper (yup, I put a lot of pepper) when they combined with the mayo. In my opinion, the sauce will make the mayo flavour diminished.

As you can see the photo on the left, there is a couple of tempura nuggets (you can’t say no to processed food). I’m adding them to get a meaty taste in the meal.

I hope you enjoy my post today and you can try this for your sahur time and it is a satisfactory recipes. Make sure you try them 🙂

P/S : The new writing column sucks. I like the old one.
